The first full trailer for the upcoming anime film Fuse: A Gun Girl’s Detective Story, known in japan as Fuse Teppō Musume no Torimonochō, has started streaming on Youtube and the films official website. Look below for the whole 104 seconds of beauty.
The film, which is an adaptation of the novel Fuse Gansaku: Satomi Hakkenden, centres around the titular gun girl Hamaji, who is on a mission to hunt down a species of dog – human hybrids called Fuse. There is currently also a manga adaptation running in Square Enix’s Monthly Big Gangan magazine and has been the inspiration for a video game series called Hakkenden: Legend of the Dog Warriors.
The film is due to hit Japan on October 20th this year with a script by Ichiro Okouchi (Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion) and directed by Masayuki Miyaji ( Xam’d: Lost Memories). It will also feature a soundtrack composed by Michiru Oshima ( best known for his work on the first FullMetal Alchemist anime).
