Satoru Iwata from Nintendo has announced the next two Pokémon games in the series; Pokémon X and Y will be available on the 3DS this October, and, as a pleasant surprise, the games will be released at the same time worldwide. 

The three starting pokémon for this instalment are Grass-type Chespin (Harrimaron), Fire-type Fennekin (Fokko), and Water-type Froakie (Keromatsu).
