The official YouTube channel for Cartoon Network’s new series Tenkai Knights has released a trailer of the Japanese/Canadian animated series. The action series is about transforming building block toys. Produced by Shogakukan Productions and Spin Master, Tenkai Knights will be running on Cartoon Network on Saturday mornings, and will premiere on 24 August.
The series is animated by Bones (Fullmetal Alchemist, Ouran High School Host Club, Soul Eater). Tenkai Kinghts is the follow-up to Bakugan Battle Brawlers, and will feature 52 episodes (along with some webisodes), an interactive website and its own toy line.
During it’s latest Nintendo Direct presentation, Nintendo has announced that the 3DS crossover game Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney will be heading to North America and Europe in 2014.
The Japanese anime studio Bones (Fullmetal Alchemist) created the animation sequences for the game, while Level-5 and Capcom developed the game. Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney was released in Japan in November 2012.
Level-5’s 3DS game Liberation Maiden is being released worldwide for iOS devices. The robot shooter game was originally produced by Grasshopper Manufacture’s Goichi “Suda 51” Suda (Lollipop Chainsaw) for the Guild01 videogame compilation, and features cutscenes animated by Bones animation studio.
The game is out now – selling at £2.99, $4.99 or ¥600 – and is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch and iPad.
In Liberation Maiden, the player controls Shoko Ozora, Second President of New Japan, as she fights against invaders in order to liberate her country.
