Hatsune Miku Version 3 Sings in English

To showcase the English capabilities of the Hatsune Miku Version 3 software, Sapporo-based artist BSC a.k.a. kuni has composed a song called “Coming Together” to express “the wish that everyone is able to connect to each other through music.” The English vocal database has been recorded with the original Miku voice Saki Fujita.

Crypton Future Media debuted the song at Japan Expo and Anime Expo earlier this month, and the full software package will be released at the end of this summer. Available as a retail package and digital download, the Version 3 software will include the vocal editor Piapro Studio, a set of over 200 PreSonus sound files for instruments and the Studio One 2.5 Artist Piapro Edition digital music workstation software.

Designer Kei Does Hatsune Miku Live Drawing

Hatsune Miku’s official YouTube channel released a video of the Vocaloid’s original designer Kei illustrating the character. The video finishes with a Q&A session with Kei about his life as an artist and Miku’s signature twin tails hairstyle.

Hatsune Miku is the most famous Vocaloid that represents Yamaha’s singing synthesizer application, developed by Crypton Future Media. She was introduced in Vocaloid 2 on 31 August 2007, and her voice is sampled from voice actress Saki Fujita (Yuruyuri, Angel Beats!).
