The animation studio Ufotable has announced that it will be producing a new Fate/stay night project; it is unclear what form this project will take as of yet, but it will likely be a new anime series.
The studio previously produced an anime adaptation of Fate/zero,the prequel series of Fate/stay night,in 2011, which was in released in North America on Blu-ray, and will be available on DVD and Blu-ray with an English dub later this year.Ufotable also provided the anime openings for the PS Vita port of Fate/stay night: Réalta Nua.

A 3-minute promo of Fate/Kaleid Liner Prisma Illya has been released by the series’ official website. The magical girl anime is based on Hiroshi Hiroyama’s spin-off manga, which re-imagines the Fate/stay night character Illyasviel von Einzbern in an alternate universe as a magical girl. The series will premiere in July, and the first episode will be available to stream on Niconico before its first television broadcast date.
Shin Oonuma (Baka and Test – Summon the Beasts) is directing the series at SILVER LINK, while the scriptwriting will be supervised by Kenji Inoue (Baka and Test – Summon the Beasts) and written by Hazuki Minase (C³). Also among the staff are Nozomi Ushijima (animation director on Dusk Maiden of Amnesia episodes), who is the character designer; Tatsuya Katou (Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere), who is scoring the music; and Takashi Sakamoto (episode director on Baka and Test – Summon the Beasts 2) is the series chief director. The singer Choucho (Heaven’s Memo Pad) will perform the anime’s opening theme song, although its title is yet to be announced.

The production company Pony Canyon have released the first promotional video of anime adaptation of Tatsuhiko Hikagi’s Dansai Bunri no Crime Edge manga. The anime will premiere in spring 2013.
The story revolves around Kiri Haimura (voiced by Natsuki Hanae), a boy who loves to cut girls’ hair. He meets Iwai Mushanokoji (Kotori Koiwai), the “Queen of Hair” whose hair can’t be cut due to a curse. Kiri finds out that his scissors, Dansai Bunri no Crime Edge, are the only thing that can cut her hair. Kiri must then protect Iwai from murderers wielding “Killing Goods.”
Yuji Yamaguchi (Fate/stay night) will be directing the series at Studio Gokumi (Oda Nobuna no Yabo, Saki), Tatsuhiko Urahata (Monster, Saki) is the series’ scriptwriter and Katsuzo Hirata (Angel Beats!, Hand Maid May) is the character designer.
