New Cartoon Network Series Tenkai Knights Trailer Released

The official YouTube channel for Cartoon Network’s new series Tenkai Knights has released a trailer of the Japanese/Canadian animated series. The action series is about transforming building block toys. Produced by Shogakukan Productions and Spin Master, Tenkai Knights will be running on Cartoon Network on Saturday mornings, and will premiere on 24 August.

The series is animated by Bones (Fullmetal Alchemist, Ouran High School Host Club, Soul Eater). Tenkai Kinghts is the follow-up to Bakugan Battle Brawlers, and will feature 52 episodes (along with some webisodes), an interactive website and its own toy line.

First Promo for Hyperdimension Neptunia Anime Released

The official website for the anime adaptation of the Hyperdimension Neptunia role-playing game has released its first promotional video for the series. The video introduces the main characters and features the song “Dimension tripper” by nao.

The main staff of the series have also been announced; Masahiro Mukai (episode director of Puella Magi Madoka Magica and Kuroko’s Basketball) is directing the series at David Production (JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure), Shogo Yasukawa (Hayate the Combat Butler) is the scriptwriter and Hitomi Takechi (key animator on Fullmetal Alchemist) is adapting Tsunako’s original character designs for the anime.

Sentai Filmworks Licenses Tegami Bachi: Reverse Anime North American anime licensing company Sentai Filmworks has confirmed they have acquired the rights to the second series of the anime adaptation of Hiroyuki Asada’s fantasy manga, Tegami Bachi: Reverse. The anime will available on subtitled DVD and through digital outlets later this year.

Tegami Bachi: Reverse is the sequel to Tegami Bachi: Letter Bee, a series that revolved around a young boy named Lag Seeing who becomes a “letter bee”. His job is to deliver messages throughout the world of AmberGround, which exists in eternal night.

The series was directed by Akira Iwanaga (Gunslinger Girl), with Masanao Akahoshi (Psychic Squad) and Shou Aikawa (Fullmetal Alchemist) scripting most of the series, and Minako Shiba (Black Butler) doing the character design.
