Joujuu Senjin!! Mushibugyo Manga Gets Anime

Shonen Sunday magazine has revealed that Hiroshi Fukuda’s Joujuu Senjin!! Mushibugyo fantasy samurai manga will be adapted into a television anime. As well as the first promotional art for the anime, the magazine revealed that the anime would be produced by Seven Arcs (Dog DaysSekirei).

The story is set in Edo-era Tokyo in the early 1700s, where the eighth shogun Tokugawa Yoshimune ordered boxes to be installed so commoners can submit their thoughts. After hearing their voices, the shogun creates a new magistrate unit — Mushibugyo — to protect the people in the heart of the city. Each member is a specialist with unique fighting skills.
