New vampire web series Morganville will be making its world premiere at this month’s MCM London Comic Con. Bestselling US author and series writer Rachel Caine will be introducing the cast, which will include Buffy The Vampire Slayer’s Amber Benson, Star Trek’s Robert Picardo, Lindsay Seidel and Jordan Tanner Farris.
Debuting on Felicia Day’s Geek & Sundry network in late October, Morganville adapts The Morganville Vampires, Rachel Caine’s hit series of novels set in the vampire-haunted city of Morganville, Texas. Amber Benson, best known as Tara in Buffy The Vampire Slayer, plays lead vampire Amelie, Robert Picardo plays her second in command Oliver, Lindsay Seidel plays series protagonist Claire and Jordan Tanner Farris plays Shane, a hotheaded Morganville native with a fierce hatred of bloodsuckers.
MCM London Comic Con visitors will get to see the world premiere of the first two episodes of Morganville, screening as part of Vidfest UK, the show’s celebration of all things online video. Be there or be vampire dust!
