New Sailor Moon Anime Will Stream Worldwide This Winter

During the second Sailor Moon 20th Anniversary Event, the idol group Momoiro Clover Z announced that the new Sailor Moon anime will stream simultaneously around the world this winter. The idol group also revealed that they would be singing both the opening and the ending theme songs for the new anime. The anime will stream on Niconico.

The new anime adaptation of Naoko Takeuchi’s manga was announced last summer, along with an announcement from Momoiro Clover Z that they would perform at least one theme song for the new anime. The anime was previously going to be released in summer 2013, but has been postponed to the December 2013 – January 2014 window. 

Fate/Kaleid Liner Prisma Illya 3-Minute Promo Released

A 3-minute promo of Fate/Kaleid Liner Prisma Illya has been released by the series’ official website. The magical girl anime is based on Hiroshi Hiroyama’s spin-off manga, which re-imagines the Fate/stay night character Illyasviel von Einzbern in an alternate universe as a magical girl. The series will premiere in July, and the first episode will be available to stream on Niconico before its first television broadcast date.

Shin Oonuma (Baka and Test – Summon the Beasts) is directing the series at SILVER LINK, while the scriptwriting will be supervised by Kenji Inoue (Baka and Test – Summon the Beasts) and written by Hazuki Minase (). Also among the staff are Nozomi Ushijima (animation director on Dusk Maiden of Amnesia episodes), who is the character designer; Tatsuya Katou (Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere), who is scoring the music; and Takashi Sakamoto (episode director on Baka and Test – Summon the Beasts 2) is the series chief director. The singer Choucho (Heaven’s Memo Pad) will perform the anime’s opening theme song, although its title is yet to be announced.

Trailer of Hetalia The Beautiful World Released

An official trailer for Hetalia The Beautiful World, the 5th series in the anime adaptation of Hidekaz Himaruya’s Hetalia manga, has been released by Animate.tv. The anime will be streamed on animate.tv on 25 January 2013 and then niconico on 28 January.

The story of Hetalia is set in Europe in the years between WWI and WWII (1915-1939), the characters are exaggerated representations of various European nations.

Confirmed returning cast for Hetalia The Beautiful World include Daisuke Namikawa (Italy), Hiroki Yasumoto (Germany), Hiroki Takahashi (Japan), Katsuyuki Konishi (America/Canada), Noriaki Sugiyama (United Kingdom), Masaya Onosaka (France), Yasuhiro Takato (Russia) and Yuki Kaida (China).
