Tecmo Koei Europe has confirmed that PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 ports of the previously Nintendo Wii U exclusive game Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge will be released in Europe, Japan and America. The game will be released on 2 April (US), 4 April (Japan) and 5 April (EU).
Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge is an expanded Wii U version of 2011’s Ninja Gaiden 3. The PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions will include an extra 25 missions, all the downloadable Wii U content, and costumes for the game’s protagonist and the Dead or Alive playable characters. The costumes can be purchased in game with “karma”.
PlayStation have released an animation short to promote Sly Cooper: Thieves In Time action game; the video features Sly and his friends pull off an airborne heist. The character of Sly is voiced by Kevin Miller (Blood Will Tell, Nightshade).
Sly Cooper: Thieves In Time was developed by Sanzaru Games and is being published by Sony Computer Entertainment. The game will be available on PS3 and Vita on 5 February (US), 27 March (UK).
An English-subbed trailer of the Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 action game has been released by Namco Bandai Games Europe. The video features nearly all of the Jinchūriki (tailed beast) ninja as playable characters – Gaara, Yugito, Yagura, Rōshi (Son Goku), Han, Utakata, Fū, Killer Bee, and Naruto. The trailer also introduces the game’s Kurama Mode, which allows players to team up with the Nine-Tailed Kurama in Tailed Beast Mode to fight and shows off Naruto’s Son Goku downloadable alternate costume. Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 will be available on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 from 5 March (US), 8 March (EU).
Those who pre-order the game will receive the Son Goku costume for Naruto and a trading card. The game is also available in a limited Will of Fire collector’s edition on Amazon.co.uk, which includes the game, 16cm Naruto figurine, double-sided poster, Soundtrack, Goku costume DLC and a trading card.
PlayStation and Sony Computer Entertainment have released a teaser trailer for the singleplayer mode of God Of War: Ascension. The story of this prequel is set six months after the last game, in which Kratos was tricked by Ares into killing his wife and child. Kratos broke his blood oath with Ares and was sentenced to an eternity chained in a prison for the living damned; now he will be tested as he seeks his freedom and vengeance. God of War: Ascension will be available on PlayStation 3 from March 12 (US), March 15 (UK).
Players can gain early access to the singleplayer demo by joining the Rise of The Warrior challenge and testing their God Of War knowledge for the chance to win in-game rewards and exclusive downloadable content.
PlayStation Network users in North or South America can also access an open beta for the game’s multiplayer mode.
Square Enix has released an extended trailer of Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII RPG sequel. Square Enix previously revealed that the game would ship worldwide for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 this autumn.
The game is the final chapter in Lightning’s story, and revolves around a 13-day countdown until the end of the world; players must save humanity within 13 days and 13 nights.

D3 Publishers (America) and Namco Bandai Games Europe have announced that Earth Defense Force 4 will be released in the west under the title Earth Defense Force 2025. The game will be available on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2013.
As with the previous games, players must defend Earth and its inhabitants from giant alien bugs. Developed by Sandlot, the game will include a four-player local multiplayer alongside the standard missions.
Namco Bandai Games Europe has confirmed that One Piece: Pirate Warriors 2 will be released in Europe on the PlayStation 3 in summer 2013. The game has been confirmed for release on PS3 and PlayStation Vita in Japan, but Namco Bandai has not confirmed a Vita edition for the Europe release.
The game is set in the New World arc of the One Piece story, featuring new stages such as Skypiea, new characters such as Eneru and a new original mode.
The game is being developed by Omega Force (in-house Tecmo Koei developers).
The first One Piece: Pirate Warriors has sold over 1.2 million copies, and, to celebrate, Namco Bandai Europe will provide a discount on the digital copy of the original game with all downloadable content from 12 – 26 December 2012.
Viz Media has released two English-dubbed previews of Lagrange – The Flower of Rin-ne. An uncut version of the sci-fi mech anime series will be released by Viz Media on the PlayStation 3 streaming service Neon Valley in January 2013.
The English dub cast stars Kira Buckland as Madoka, Sophie Roberts as Lan, and Karen Strassman as Muginami.
Videogame publishers Tecmo Koei have released the first promotional video of Fist of the North Star: Ken’s Rage 2. The trailer features gameplay previews and character introductions. Playable characters include the game’s protagonist Kenshiro, as well as Thouzer, Falco and Shachi; Bat and Rin will also be in the brawler. The game will be available in a standard or Treasure Box edition on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii U in Japan on 20 December.
The Japanese game developers Nippon Ichi Software (NIS) has released the first trailer for their RPG God and the Destiny Revolution Paradox (Kamisama to Unmei Kakumei no Paradox), featuring previews of the actual gameplay. The game was originally going to be released on 20 December, but has been delayed until 24 January 2013.
The story follows a high school student named Renya who suddenly becomes a god; along with five angels, he grants wishes and changes people’s fates.
The game will be available on PlayStation 3 as the developer’s 20th anniversary commemorative title. NIS previously created the Disgaea role-playing game series. On this new project, the developers have hired some familiar outside help; The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya light novel illustrator Noizi Ito is the game’s character designer and Yousei Teikoku (The Future Diary, Katanagatari theme songs) is providing the game’s soundtrack and theme song.
The game will be available in a standard (¥7,140 = £56) and limited edition (¥9,240 = £73). The limited edition will include a Destiny Revolution Bible for New Gods booklet, two soundtrack CDs, and a first-edition box.
Sohei Niikawa, the CEO of NIS, has already announced that a television anime is in the works, but has yet to be green-lit.
