The anime production company Pony Canyon has released a new trailer for the Attack on Titan anime. The series is set to premiere on 6 April.
The original, award-winning manga (written by Hajime Isayama) is set in a world where giants named Titans roam the world outside of walled enclaves that humans live in; the Titans are devoid of humanity and seek only to devour humans. In the anime, Yuuki Kaji voices Eren, a boy who dreams of the world outside the walls and enlists in the training corps to fight the Titans; Yui Ishikawa plays Mikasa, a girl who was rescued by Eren when they were younger; and Marina Inoue plays Armin, a friend of Eren and Mikasa, who teaches Eren of the outside world.
Tetsuro Araki (Death Note, Highschool of the Dead, Guilty Crown) is directing the series at Wit Studio (in cooperation with Production I.G), Yasuko Kobayashi (Shakugan no Shana, Claymore, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure) is the head writer and Kyoji Asano (Psycho-Pass, Tokyo Marble Chocolate) is the character designer.
Production company Pony Canyon have released two new videos previewing the anime adaptation of the RPG, Devil Survivor 2: The Animation. The videos focus on characters Yamato Hotsuin (Junichi Suwabe – Bleach‘s Grimmjow, Black Butler‘s Undertaker) and Anguished One (Takahiro Sakurai – Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children‘s Cloud Strife, Code Geass‘ Suzaku Kururugi).
The story follows 13 “devil survivors”, who’ve cut deals with devils in order to gain special abilities to defeat unknown invaders, but there’s only seven days until a worldwide catastrophe.
The series is being directed by Seiji Kishi (Persona 4: The Animation), and Yoshimichi Hirai (Angel Beats!) is the assistant director at the studio Bridge. Devil Survivor 2: The Animation will premiere in Japan in April.

The story revolves around Kiri Haimura (voiced by Natsuki Hanae), a boy who loves to cut girls’ hair. He meets Iwai Mushanokoji (Kotori Koiwai), the “Queen of Hair” whose hair can’t be cut due to a curse. Kiri finds out that his scissors, Dansai Bunri no Crime Edge, are the only thing that can cut her hair. Kiri must then protect Iwai from murderers wielding “Killing Goods.”
Yuji Yamaguchi (Fate/stay night) will be directing the series at Studio Gokumi (Oda Nobuna no Yabo, Saki), Tatsuhiko Urahata (Monster, Saki) is the series’ scriptwriter and Katsuzo Hirata (Angel Beats!, Hand Maid May) is the character designer.
