Phoenix Wright is back and he’s making his way to the 3DS.

The latest issue of Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu has revealed that the fifth Ace Attorney game – set to be released on 3DS – will see a return from the all-famous Attorney Phoenix Wright, after he took a short break from the courtroom to concede to newbie Apollo Justice.

Although there is no set release date for the new title as of yet, Phoenix Wright apparently also has a mysterious new female partner who serves as a “central figure in the game”.

The site Andriasang suggests that the in-game characters will be in full 3D, with the lower screen on the 3DS showing icons for facial expressions that your characters can use during testimony.

However the mere suggestion of ‘Phoenix Wright is Objecting once more’ – not to mention also having a crossover title on the 3DS with the infamous Professor Layton – will see fans bursting with anticipation over the lawyer with the gravity defying hair.
