Two New Albums Being Released for Miku’s Fifth Birthday

2007. The last five years have really flown by but it really has been that long. This August will mark the virtual songstress Hatsune Miku’s fifth birthday which is a pretty long time in terms of internet phenomenons and looks like we will see it officially celebrated very soon.

Crypton Future Media, the media company behind Vocaloid, have announced that it is planning to release two brand new “Best Of” albums with Sony Music and Dwango to celebrate the landmark for the character.

The two albums will be titled “Hatsune Miku 5th Birthday Best ~memories~” and “Hatsune Miku 5th Birthday Best ~impacts~” and are set to include some of the stars most popular songs along with some of 2012’s more recent and popular songs. The albums will also contain two new tracks titled “Anniversary Song” and “Birthday Song”.

The albums will both have 19 tracks, some of which might overlap between the two albums, and while we don’t know the full track list, we do know ten of the tracks that will appear which you can see below:
